Fred is a civil engineering expert. He has extensive experience and expertise with bridges, tunnels, stations and other civil engineering structures and has worked on major projects, such as the Betuweroute (the railway freight line linking the Port of Rotterdam and Germany), the HSL-Zuid (the high-speed line linking Amsterdam with Brussels and beyond) the public transport terminal in Utrecht and a number of highway projects. Fred acts as design manager for consortia of contractors. He guarantees the delivery of quality products by ensuring cooperation within teams and by closely monitoring and managing design activities.
